When methodology
means "results".

Research must be systematic and consistent; data and language must be checked; it must be rigorous and objective.
The research process is made up of several different phases: the conceptual phase, where topics and issues are defined, the context in which it arises and the final purpose ; and the empiric phase, probably the most complex one, when researchers frame a research hypothesis. Finally, the interpretative phase, when collected data is "processed", analysed and made available to the public through "reporting".
